Come join us!As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll keep our facility running providing electrical support on our industrial equipment. You'll work in one location, learn from a Master Electrician, and enjoy a steady schedule with no required overtime.What you will get to do:Apply knowledge of current electrical codes and industry best practices.Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of electrical equipment such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, conduit, equipment control devices, motors and other electrical equipment.Test and verify compatibility and safety of circuits, components, switches, controls, and other electrical equipment.Use wiring diagrams to diagnose issues and establish safe work procedures.Support the Master Electrician and manager with project bids involving outside vendors or contractors.Collaborate with Production Operations and Maintenance to improve efficiency and meet company goals.Uphold plant safety rules, policies and regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.What you'll bring to the role:A valid Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician License for the entire duration of employment.5+ years of electrical experience.3+ years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Graduate of an accredited vocational institution preferred.Proven skills working with switchboards, junction boxes, switches, control panels, components, circuit breakers, motors and wiring.Experience working with PLCs, switchgears, infrared survey, and high voltage (up to 138kV) is a plus.Knowledge of UL Listing/Certification is a plus.Strong communication skills, comfortable working with others.
