Job Description
Phoenix of Fairlawn is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to our residents in a warm, supportive, and professional environment.
Location: Phoenix of Fairlawn – 120 Brookmont Road, Akron, OH 44333
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience + full benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed
Manage ventilator-dependent residents, including equipment setup and monitoring
Perform respiratory assessments and pulmonary function tests
Monitor, document, and report patient progress accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care planning
Educate patients and staff on respiratory therapies and equipment

Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure safety and functionality
Qualifications:
Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Ohio (RRT or CRT)
Long-term care and/or vent unit experience preferred
Strong clinical and assessment skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
