About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Psychiatrist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment planning. You'll collaborate closely with therapists, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff while building meaningful, long-term relationships with a diverse patient population.

Vivant Mind embraces an integrative approach to psychiatry, combining evidence-based psychiatric care with innovative treatment modalities, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato® (esketamine). Experience or interest in integrative psychiatry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish diagnoses
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric follow-up
• Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and other members of the clinical team
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medications
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR
• Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions
• Evaluate and manage patients receiving Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato® (esketamine) treatment, as appropriate

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
• Active New York medical license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Active DEA registration
• Experience providing outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate, patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato® (esketamine), or integrative psychiatry is a plus

Compensation

$180,000-$220,000
