Our client in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in the construction industry. This position will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll-related reporting, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will bring previous construction accounting experience and proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
Requirements:
- Five to ten years of bookkeeping or accounting experience within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices
- Experience with AIA billing
- Experience preparing and filing 941 payroll tax reports
- Experience with government reporting requirements
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
