As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Foreman who can lead crews, maintain high standards, and keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.

Position Overview

The Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily jobsite operations, directing crew members, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role requires hands-on masonry experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with both the team and clients.

You’ll work closely with the owner and project manager to execute project plans, solve problems on-site, and uphold the reputation Catania Masonry is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise masonry crews on job sites

  • Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and craftsmanship

  • Coordinate daily tasks, workflow, and crew assignments

  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and the project manager regarding progress and needs

  • Maintain a safe jobsite and enforce safety protocols

  • Monitor material usage and request additional supplies when needed

  • Operate masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently

  • Identify issues or delays and resolve them quickly

  • Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and productivity

  • Keep jobsite clean, organized, and professional

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of masonry or construction experience (required)

  • Prior leadership or foreman experience (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of masonry techniques, materials, and equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
