Job Title: Project Manager – Financial Planning & Budgeting System
Location: Remote
Pay rate: $46 per hour on W2
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Position SummarySeeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic financial planning and budgeting system initiative. The Project Manager will coordinate the RFP process with a minimum of three vendors, facilitate vendor evaluation and finalist selection, and manage implementation planning and coordination for the selected solution.
The role will coordinate across Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Contracts, IT, and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience along with knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, accounting processes, and financial system integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 5+ years of professional project management experience.
- Experience managing projects involving business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating RFPs, vendor evaluations, procurement, or competitive selection processes.
- Strong project planning, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Working knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, accounting, or financial systems.
- Understanding of budget and financial data flow between planning/budgeting systems and general ledger systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or performance management system implementations.
- Healthcare finance or complex healthcare organization experience.
- Experience with ERP, general ledger, financial reporting, or enterprise financial systems.
- Experience working with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and IT teams.
- Experience managing software/vendor selection processes.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
- PMP Certification preferred.
