CDL-A driver Part time could turn into full-time position. Minimum 5 years of verifiable class "A" experience with a clean DMV record. Equipment to drive is a Day cab tractor. Rail yard operations run 7 days a week, driver can pick the days preferred to work. Job entails picking up and delivery of 53' shipping containers from a railroad depot to various customer locations both local and regional up to 125 air miles. Mostly drop and hooks with live unloading or loading at times.
Each load, delivery/pickup, is paid by the trip. Driver receives 25% of the stated freight rate for the assigned load. Depending on delivery location driver will do 1 to 3 loads a day.
