Office Equipment Repair Technician

The Office Equipment Repair Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Salisbury, MA. This position is responsible for:

• Diagnosing and repairing a variety of office equipment, such as printers, copiers, scanners, and related devices.
• Day-to-day tasks include performing routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electronic issues, replacing parts, and accuartely documenting all work performed.
• Traveling to customer locations as needed, communicating clearly with clients about issues and solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through professional service.
• Maintaining tools and inventory, following safety procedures, and collaborating with the team to meet service and response time goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong technical skills relating to equipment repair, with knowledge realting basic mechanical and electrical components.
• Proficient Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
• Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, including professional demeanor, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Clear and respectful Communication skills for interacting with customers, teammates, and supervisors, and for documenting service activities.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders; basic computer literacy for service logging and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer sites; capability to lift and move equipment as required.

Previous experience in office equipment, electronics, or appliance repair preferred; vocational training or relevant certifications are a plus.
