Patient Advocate (Medi-Cal Eligibility)

Work with uninsured population w/Government programs in a hospital setting

Screen uninsured individual at hospital bedside to determine potential third party linkage

i.e.,(Medi-Cal, Cal VCB, WC, etc.)

Knowledge of Medi-Cal and Indigent programs (Helpful)

Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Epic,) etc.

High School Diploma or equivalent with some college preferred and/or 2 years experience in the healthcare industry.

Employee must be able to successfully manage multiple tasks.

Ability to effectively communicate in a professional and accurate manner.

Verbal communication. (Bilingual Spanish).

Ability to work independently, must have excellent time management skills

Responsible for managing a portfolio for third party eligibility/recovery
