NP/PA – Physiatry & Pain Management (SNF)
Part-Time 1099 or Full-Time W2
Myrtle Health & Physiatry | Alexandria VA

Myrtle Health & Physiatry is expanding in the Alexandria market and seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing clinical team. This role focuses on delivering high-impact physiatry and pain management care within the skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide on-site care at a designated skilled nursing facility
  • Evaluate develop care plans, consult on rehab, manage patients with pain, spasticity, and functional limitations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on mobility and recovery
  • Treat patients recovering from stroke, surgery, and complex medical conditions
  • Collaborate closely with therapy teams (PT/OT/ST) to drive functional progress
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and reduce rehospitalizations


What We’re Looking For

  • Active NP or PA license in Virginia (required)
  • Experience in physiatry, pain management, geriatrics, or post-acute care preferred
  • Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset


Position Details

Employment Options:

  • Part-Time (1099 Independent Contractor)
  • Full-Time (W2 Employee)


Compensation:

  • Part-Time: Starting at $75/hour+ (flexible based on experience)
  • Full-Time: $95,000 – $160,000 annually + benefits


Schedule:

  • Flexible 8-hour shifts (typically 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
  • Weekdays only — no evenings or weekends required (optional if preferred)
