Cashier/Sandwich Maker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Sandwich maker/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while processing transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
-Prepare and cook to order sandwich and a variety of other foods by operating large-volume cooking equipment.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Maintain an organized and stocked checkout area.
- Assist in restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are appealing.
- Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred, including knowledge of retail math concepts.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for processing sales efficiently.
