Legacy Management Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control and Procurement Specialist to support inventory management, property accountability, shipping and receiving, procurement support, and records management activities within a secure federal environment. The successful candidate will maintain accurate inventory records, manage accountable property, coordinate equipment receipt and shipment, conduct inventories, prepare supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with Government property management procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain accountability and inventory records for Government-owned property.
  • Track and manage equipment using inventory management systems.
  • Receive, inspect, label, package, ship, and track equipment and materials.
  • Prepare and process inventory and transfer documentation.
  • Conduct physical inventories and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Support equipment disposition and disposal activities.
  • Research and resolve inventory irregularities and documentation issues.
  • Prepare recurring inventory discrepancy and status reports.
  • Collect and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing shipments.
  • Order, receive, and track office supplies.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation supporting audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with Government personnel and stakeholders to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of equivalent relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with inventory management or property accountability systems.
  • Experience receiving, shipping, tracking, and managing equipment.
  • Experience with federal logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply management.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint skills.
  • Excellent organizational, recordkeeping, and documentation abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Department of Defense experience.
  • Experience with DPAS or comparable Government property systems.
  • Experience managing high-value IT or technical equipment.
  • Experience supporting inventory audits and property accountability reviews.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow asset management tools.

The total compensation package also provides $11,544 in health and welfare benefits, 80 hours of vacation, 56 hours of sick leave, and 88 hours of holiday leave.
