Job Description
Part-time Teaching Assistant in a Montessori classroom for children ages 16 - 30 months old, Monday- Friday 11:30- 5:00 PM.
Join a warm, experienced teaching team supporting toddlers ages 16–30 months in our Montessori classroom. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves this age group and wants to learn more about the Montessori approach.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $23 hour
Clearances: All state-required clearances necessary (we can guide you through this process)
What you'll do:
- Support our lead teachers and engage warmly with children throughout the day
- Assist with feeding and diapering routines
- Help maintain a calm, nurturing classroom environment
- Join our Toddler Extended Day program in the later afternoon
What we're looking for:
- Genuine enjoyment of toddler-age children
- Experience with young children in a home, childcare, or school setting
- Willingness to learn about the Montessori method (no prior experience required)
- A patient, warm, and dependable presence
