Position Overview:
The Lead Teacher will be responsible for leading and guiding a classroom of children, fostering a love for learning, and providing high-quality care. You will collaborate with a team of educators and staff to create engaging, age-appropriate activities, promote social and emotional development, and ensure the safety and well-being of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning.
Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.
Foster positive relationships with children and provide guidance in social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, behavior, and development.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Follow all daycare policies, procedures, and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and engage with children of various age groups.
Passion for working with children and helping them grow and thrive.
