A New York State licensed childcare center is seeking a full-time Lead Preschool Teacher to start as soon as possible. You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs. Our center operates Monday through Friday from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM, and the position requires availability from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM each day.

- Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
- Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
- Communicate with parents and other school personnel
- Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Problem-solving and mediation skills
