Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and client-focused Shoe Store Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and footwear, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to assist clients in finding the perfect pair of shoes and help with foot problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and assist them in selecting shoes that meet their needs.
- Provide expert advice on fit, style, and comfort.
- Work with more than one client at a time.
- Process sales transactions using the store’s Point of Sale system.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies.
- Keep the sales floor neat, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise.
- Handle client inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner.
- Meet or exceed sales goals by providing exceptional client service.
- Stay up to date on new shoe trends and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Able to listen to client needs and show empathy.
- Prior footwear retail sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Work hours between Monday - Saturday, 11am and 6pm MT.
