Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, mechanically minded Field Operations Foreman / Installation Lead to direct and elevate our residential installation crews in Juneau, AK
In this role, you will be the premier technical leader in the field—actively running high-impact heating and plumbing projects while supervising, auditing, and mentoring 3 to 4 installation crews. This role bridges hands-on master craftsmanship with field leadership, offering a direct trajectory into a General Superintendent / Operations Leadership position as regional service routes expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Installation Leadership: Lead and execute complex residential installations, including oil/gas furnaces, boilers, hydronic heating systems, fuel storage tanks, and comprehensive plumbing rough-ins/fit-outs.
- Crew Supervision & Quality Audits: Coordinate daily job sites, manage project timelines, and audit active crew work to ensure strict safety standards, local code compliance, and top-tier craftsmanship.
- Apprentice Mentorship & Training: Actively train and coach junior technicians and apprentices through our structured career and journeyman development pipeline.
- Specialized Remodels & Freeze Response: Oversee full wet-area bathroom renovations (tub/shower conversions, vanities, pipe rerouting) and lead emergency winter freeze-break repairs.
- Estimating & Customer Collaboration: Partner with sales and estimating teams on technical site assessments, customer troubleshooting, and system design.
- Regional Scaling Support: Collaborate with leadership on piloting seasonal pop-up service routes and expansion projects across neighboring Southeast Alaskan communities.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Trade Mastery: 5–10+ years of hands-on installation experience in residential heating and plumbing (hydronics, boilers, oil/gas systems, and piping).
- Licensing & Certification: Journeyman Plumber or Journeyman HVAC license preferred (strong field leadership experience and master-level trade knowledge will also be considered).

- Physical & Background Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen, and ability to lift 50+ lbs on active job sites.
- Alaskan Climate Readiness: Willingness to live and work in Juneau, AK, with comfort working in winter weather conditions.
Compensation & Exceptional Benefit Package
- Competitive Hourly Pay based on experience ($35/hr to to $50/hr - plus built-in performance bonuses and SPIFF incentives)
- High Earning Potential: Top senior technical producers across the organization regularly earn $120,000 – $150,000+.
