Job Title: Full-time Custodian
Position Summary: Responsible for cleaning and room setups of Lord of Life Lutheran Church
Department: Resources
Reports to: Resources Executive Director
Supervises: N/A
Status: Full-time 40 hours per week
FLSA: Non-Exempt

Hours Worked Per Week: Sunday through Thursday.12:30p-9p
Essential Functions:
- Cleaning
- Cleaning all areas of the building (restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, offices, stairways, floors, walls, windows, etc.)
- Trash / recycling collection
- Room set-ups
- Set up and take down tables and chairs in specific rooms as schedule dictates. Interact with church staff to ensure needs are met.
- Maintaining a Safe Environment
- Occasional snow removal (Shoveling), removing slip/trip hazards, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring hygienic standards.
- Occasional outside work (Trash cleanup, etc.)

Education/Qualifications: High school (or pursuing) or equivalent.
Experience/Knowledge:
- Able to work with cleaning chemicals.
Physical Demands: X appropriate category to function in the job.
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible
amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects,
including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are
