About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Operate FEDEX line haul vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight according to schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations for safe driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service during freight delivery.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience, preferably in line haul or freight transport.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
