Senior Geotechnical/CMT Technician
Job Description
Anticus Engineering is seeking a geotechnical/materials testing technician for our Ruskin
office. This a full-time position, with the possibility of some overtime. Position will require working mostly
outdoors with some laboratory work (must physically be able to lift and manage equipment weighing 60 pounds). Must
have excellent math and communication skills to interact with engineers and other technicians. Certification in
earthwork, concrete, asphalt a plus but not required. Background in engineering or construction a plus but not
required. Valid and clean driver license required. Vehicle will be provided during business/work hours. Clean
background required. The work generally includes, but is not limited to the following:
Travel to sites, collection of samples, obtain field data
Conduct a full range of field testing associated with soils/concrete/asphalt
Conduct a full range of laboratory testing associated with soils/concrete/asphalt
Observe contractor activity
Other general field related duties
Logging of testing in the field including drilling, test pits, augers, ground penetrating radar, vibration monitoring
Completion of field reports and interaction with engineers.
Participate in safety meetings, provide client support, be part of equipment maintenance programs, along with
other associated operations duties.
