Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain a team of B2B Account Executives.
- Performance Management: Conduct weekly one-on-one reviews to analyze pipelines, address bottlenecks, and optimize sales activity.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share across key verticals.
- Deal Coaching: Join field visits and high-stakes presentations to help team members negotiate and close complex deals.
- Pipeline Oversight: Monitor CRM data to ensure pipeline health, accurate forecasting, and strict policy compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with service and operations teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Training: Implement ongoing training on consultative selling, product updates, and negotiation tactics.
Success Metrics
- Quota Attainment: Meet or exceed 100% of the assigned monthly and quarterly team revenue targets.
- Team Productivity: Ensure at least 80% of individual Account Executives meet their monthly KPIs.
- Coaching Activity: Complete 3–5 joint field days or live call coaching sessions per week.
- Forecast Accuracy: Maintain a quarterly sales forecast accuracy variance of less than 10% in the CRM.
- Pipeline Health: Ensure the collective team pipeline remains healthy at 3x the total team quota.
- Retention Rate: Maintain high team morale and meet annual staff retention benchmarks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Sales Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience managing a B2B sales team, or 5+ years as a top-performing Senior AE.
- Industry Background: Proven success in technology, office equipment, telecom, or managed services.
- Coaching Expertise: Strong ability to diagnose skill gaps, deliver constructive feedback, and motivate diverse personalities.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data-driven management, pipeline analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- CRM Mastery: Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot for tracking team metrics.
- Mobility: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for active field coaching and client visits.
