Cable Technician — Xfinity Contractor (1099)
General Cable LLC is seeking experienced and motivated 1099 Cable Technicians to perform residential Xfinity cable and internet installations.
Responsibilities
- Install and service Xfinity cable, internet, modem, and TV equipment.
- Run and connect coaxial/drop cable from poles to residential properties.
- Climb ladders and utility poles when required.
- Troubleshoot signal, connectivity, and equipment issues.
- Complete installations according to Xfinity quality and safety standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Complete assigned jobs on time and accurately document completed work.
Requirements
- Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to safely use a 28-foot ladder and climb poles when required.
- Basic knowledge of cable, internet, or telecommunications installation preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and good customer-service skills.
- Must be able to pass required background and/or screening requirements.
Compensation
1099 Independent Contractor — approximately $1,200–$2,000+ per week, depending on completed work and performance.
Paid training available. Experienced technicians are encouraged to apply.
