Assistant General Manager - QSR (Wendy's Franchise)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to support operations at a high-volume Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) in Carlisle, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on restaurant leader who enjoys developing teams, maintaining operational standards, and delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, team performance, customer satisfaction, and overall restaurant execution.

What You’ll Do

• Support the General Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations
• Lead and supervise team members to ensure efficient, high-quality service
• Maintain standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
• Coach, train, and develop employees to improve performance and support career growth
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
• Monitor inventory levels, product availability, ordering, and waste
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, health, and safety regulations
• Assist with labor management, productivity, and operational cost control
• Help maintain a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture
• Support the General Manager with implementing action plans and achieving restaurant goals
• Step into a leadership role during shifts and help ensure smooth operations

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or comparable management experience
• QSR, fast-food, or high-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate restaurant teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of restaurant financials, budgets, labor, and inventory
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced QSR environment
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Hands-on leadership style with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
