Construction Utility Foreman

The Construction Utility Foreman oversees utility installation projects by leading small to medium-sized crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards on-site. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the foreman manages teams of 3 to 10 members and frequently travels between sites to coordinate operations and resolve any issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage utility construction crews of 3 to 10 members
• Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols on-site
• Oversee installation of utility systems and related infrastructure
• Operate and coordinate the use of construction equipment effectively
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance
• Train and mentor workforce to improve skills and safety awareness
• Identify and resolve operational and technical problems efficiently
• Maintain communication with Site Superintendent regarding project progress

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction utility work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Proven skills in crew leadership and construction safety
• Strong knowledge of utility systems and equipment operation
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
