Accounting Manager

One of our clients is looking to hire an Accounting Manager in Alpharetta, GA. This role serves as the operational leader of the accounting department for a rapidly growing, highly profitable company, reporting directly to the VP & Corporate Controller. The position blends hands-on close management with treasury oversight, making it a great fit for someone who wants both technical depth and team leadership responsibility. You'll own the monthly close process, drive internal controls and process improvements, and manage cash and banking operations for a scaling organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a CPA who enjoys building scalable accounting infrastructure and leading a growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Oversee treasury operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, banking relationships, and fraud controls
• Manage and develop a growing accounting team while driving process improvement and automation initiatives
• Partner with leadership on technical accounting matters, audits, tax compliance, and strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ERP system experience (Sage Intacct preferred)
