Lead Teacher

We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present
age-appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
%CF; Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
%CF; Create a fun and safe learning environment
%CF; Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
%CF; Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
%CF; Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
%CF; Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
%CF; Passionate about working with children
%CF; Ability to build rapport with children
%CF; Positive and patient demeanor
%CF; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
%CF; Must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or GED.
%CF; Have the North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC)
%CF; Have one year of experience in a center or two years of experience in a family childcare
home
%CF; or complete 20 clock hours of training in child development within the first 6 months of
employment
%CF; Have CPR, First Aid, Criminal background check, and TB test
