Incoming Inspector-Quality
Job Description
Allen Organ Company is seeking an Incoming Inspector to join our team. In this role, the Incoming Inspector is part of the Quality department in our AIA Division and verifies purchased parts and materials to meet established specifications. In-process assembly inspections may be assigned when necessary. This position is onsite at our location in Macungie, PA. The hours are based on production which are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Inspect printed circuit boards, components, assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies for conformance to IPC standards and product requirements.
· Perform incoming materials inspections using engineering documentation, product specifications, procedures and work instructions.
· Prepare and maintain inspection reports and records.
· Obtain manufacturing or distribution data sheets, when needed.
· Respond to bell ring from Shipping area (small packages) in absence of Stockroom coworkers to allow delivery of material.
· Understand and comply with Quality System processes.
- Must follow all safety rules and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the department. This will include at a minimum safety glasses and coat for the cleanroom for electronic assembly.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Quality Control or related experience in an electronics manufacturing company is preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret materials specifications, engineering documents, and relevant standards.
· Ability to use various inspection tools including: calipers, gauges, multimeters, stereo microscopes, etc.
· Solder skills are a plus.
· Familiarity with IPC standards is helpful.
· Basic computer skills to include basic MS Office applications and ERP programs.
· Normal vision with the ability to accurately identify colors.
· Ability to work in a seated or standing position for extended periods
· Ability to lift 30 lbs.
