Software Technician

Bank-Tec South is currently looking for a Software Technician. The ideal candidate will have a background in PC and application support and possess strong customer service skills. Prior banking equipment service experience is a plus. The successful candidate will be trained on electronic banking equipment like ATMs and ITMs. Must be able to travel up to 5 days a week in a company vehicle. Must be able to work well as a part of our team and independently.

The duties include but are not limited to:

1) Loading Windows operating systems on PC equipped items.

2) Loading and configuring software applications on PCs.

3) Network configuration.

4) Working with remote third-party companies.

5) Teaching our clients how to use the software and equipment.

6) Problem solving.

7) Preventative maintenance.

8) Updating software as required.

9) Documenting jobs accurately.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication skills.

COMPTIA Network Plus or Security Plus

Application Support

Basic lock knowledge and mechanical skills.

Good driving record.
