UNARMED OFFICERS - Part-time
Job Description
We are currently seeking part-time UNARMED OFFICERS to perform special assignments in the Nashville area. The selected individual will monitor and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
On-going part-time Unarmed security officer assignment
Evening shift 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm (7) days a week
De-escalate disruptive encounters of customers and/or employees
Check in and out with the Manager On Duty (MOD)
Any other specific site instructions will be provided by the MOD
Must have reliable phone communications and transportation
Must possess a valid State of TN unarmed guard license or ability to obtain one
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields preferred
- Familiarity with security equipment such as camera and alarm monitoring
- Strong attention to detail
