Server/Bartender

Bartender/Server

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and provide knowledgeable food and drink recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine, to recipe and presentation standards
• Restock and rotate bar inventory
• Have knowledge of how to handle allergies and dietary restrictions
• Run food and drinks promptly, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation
• Handle guest checks, payments, and cash/card transactions accurately
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and other front-of-house staff during service
• Reset and clean tables a/o bar between guests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Check IDs and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service
• Assist with opening/closing side work
• Uphold all responsible alcohol service and health code standards

Requirements

• Prior serving and/or bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
• Working knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and craft beer service
• Ability to work long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent guest service skills
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Team-oriented attitude with clear communication skills
• Responsible Alcohol Service certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must meet minimum legal age to serve alcohol per state law
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
