Bartender

We are hiring for beertender to pick up shifts as-needed. Other assignments could also include deliveries, events, and farmers markets.

*Pour beer and beer flights and serve to customers

*Impeccable attendance as some shifts have no alternative options

*Verify the customers’ ages

*Process payments

*Clean glasses and bar utensils

*Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences

*Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits

*Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift

*Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

*Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

*Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings

*Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness

*Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive

*Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol

*Follow all set procedures

*Completion of daily and weekly checklists

*Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments

*Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

*Be able to perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists.

*Expectation to safely and frequently lift and/or move kegs up to 165 pounds.

*Expectation to use good judgment for performing necessary manual work, machine operations, set-ups, inspections, and adjustments that require independent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation.

Beertender and events: $17 plus tips (estimated avg $36/hr)

Deliveries: $21/hr

Farmers Market: $25/hr
