Summary: Process and ship customer orders in an accurate and timely manner while maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse. Back up other positions within the warehouse. Understanding of manufacturing processes within a distribution center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.

• Print pick tickets, pull orders, maintain orders as necessary in timely and accurate manner
• Check orders, package shipments timely and accurately
• Ship packages using various shipping methods or common carriers
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts
• Store items in neat and orderly fashion in adherence to warehouse procedures
• Be back up for other duties in the warehouse
• Occasional pick up/drop off of materials to and from off-site locations
• Maintain safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Skills / Trainings / Certifications / Degrees

• Ability to operate forklift and other assigned vehicles
• Ability to use PC and learn company computer system
• Manufacturing disciplines
• Warehouse basics

Competencies

• Maintain regular attendance
• Energetic and work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work in non-controlled temperature environment and high humidity.
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods

Education and /or Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior shipping experience is a plus
• Valid KY driver’s license
