The Fiberglass & Bonding Fabricator plays a critical role in producing high-quality railway and train components through skilled fiberglass fabrication and bonding techniques. As an individual contributor, this role requires precision, technical expertise, and adherence to specifications to ensure durable and reliable composite parts. Periodic check-ins provide guidance while allowing autonomy in day-to-day fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials accurately for fiberglass fabrication processes
• Perform lamination and bonding of composite materials
• Cut and shape fiberglass components according to design requirements
• Execute fiberglass repair on existing components to maintain quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fiberglass fabrication
• Technical certification in composite materials is preferred
• Proficient in fiberglass fabrication and composite bonding techniques
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective problem-solving skills
