Teacher Preschool , Pre K Teacher

Giggle Box Learn N Play is hiring for the following:

Full Time Teacher Position at our Dundalk and Essex Locations

Lead Teacher must obtain/possess the following:

•90 hr. Preschool Certification

•9 hr. Communication Certification

•45 hr. Infant / Toddler Certification

•45 hr. School Age Certification (a plus)

•ADA Training

•Developmental Screening Training

•Medication Administration Training

•Emergency Evacuation Training

•Breastfeeding Training

•SIDS

•Basic Health and Safety Training

•Current CPR/First Aid Training

•Teachers must complete and maintain 12 Credits of Continuing Education Courses per year

•High School Diploma or Degree

•Lesson Plan Experience (preferably using Frog Street Curriculum)

•At least 2 years of experience working with children between the ages of 6 weeks-12 years of age

•A Verification Letter from past employer in Childcare Setting with weekly hours on their company letter head

•Must complete a Release Form from Office of Childcare

•Must complete a Medical Report as required by Office of Childcare

•Must pass a Criminal Background Check (New hire pays fee)

•Must be a Team Player

•Must wear a Uniform

•Must have reliable transportation to work

•90 Day Probationary Period must be satisfied before Position is Permanent

•Before hire- Employee must complete a 4 hour non paid Volunteer Orientation/Working Interview.

School Age Teacher Full Time Position hours 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Flex/Split Shift School Age Teacher hours 7:00am - 9:30 am / 2:30 pm -5:30 pm

•45 Hr. School Age Certification and 45 Hr. Method & Material Certification

•Lesson Plan Experience (preferably using Frog Street Curriculum)
•At least 2 years of experience working with children between the ages of 5 -12 years of age
•A Verification Letter from past employer in Childcare Setting
•Must complete a Release and Medical Report as required by Office of Childcare
•Must pass a Criminal Background Check (Fee-$65.00-Employee Pay) will be reimbursed on first payroll
•Must be a Team Player and wear a Uniform daily
•Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work and from work
•90 Day Probationary Period must be satisfied before Position is Permanent
•Teachers must complete and maintain 12 Credits of Continuing Education Courses per year
