We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team at Austin Epilepsy Care Center. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support physicians
- Communicate with insurance companies for prescription prior authorizations
- Room patients for physicians
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in busy private practice settings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology/prescriptions
- Strong organizational skills/time management
- Passion for patient care
