Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to children's developmental needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
  • Collaborate with parents and staff to promote a positive educational experience.
  • Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and progress.
  • Lead classroom management and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Valid CDA teaching certification or license in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.
  • Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for learning.
