Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to children's developmental needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to promote a positive educational experience.
- Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and progress.
- Lead classroom management and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Valid CDA teaching certification or license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.
- Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for learning.
