We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s personal assistive devices
• Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal delivery or feeding as necessary
• Administer medications following prescribed care plans and document medication administration accurately
• Support residents with cognitive impairments by implementing memory care strategies and engaging them in meaningful activities
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols
• Document patient observations, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Provide emotional support and companionship to promote social interaction and mental well-being
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community outings when required
• Use proper techniques for heavy lifting and patient transfers to ensure safety for both residents and staff

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, home health, hospice care, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic nursing skills
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or dementia/cognitive impairment care are a plus
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related conditions is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents’ quality of life
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
