Traffic Signal Technician

Job description

Mountain Power Electrical is currently seeking an experienced “Traffic Signal Technician.”

All candidates must adhere to strict safety standards while ensuring the highest quality of work is completed efficiently and timely.

The Traffic Signal Construction tech will work on a crew on various projects building traffic signals, highway and street lighting, infrastructure and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) within Tucson and Southern Arizona.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Reads utility locates, coordinates potholing, and ensures the safety of existing facilities.

Underground conduit

Mounting devices

Installing poles

Drilling caissons

Installation of required equipment

Wiring of equipment

Trouble shooting and integration of required equipment

Any other job related duties as requested

Requirements:

5 years previous industry experience

Can operate equipment such as backhoe, bucket truck & boom truck.

IMSA certification
