Accounts Payable Clerk

This role is with a Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A affiliate company, Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, America also located on site at 9 Peach Tree Hill Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. This position is not with Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A.

Duties:

• Receive all incoming invoices and route for approval where needed
• Sort, code and match invoices for accounting entry
• Maintain payment files
• Respond to all vendor inquiries
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payment
• Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any issues related to accounts payable
• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Work on site in the corporate headquarter office located in Livingston NJ
