Analytic Chemistry Lab Manager

The Lab Manager will oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining high-quality standards. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role involves supervising a small team, managing equipment maintenance, and supporting new equipment installation and validation. The Lab Manager will also conduct routine safety and compliance audits while handling procurement and training responsibilities within an on-site work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily lab operations and coordinate team activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular audits
• Supervise and support a small team of 1-5 members
• Oversee equipment maintenance and support installation and validation of new equipment
• Implement quality assurance processes to uphold lab standards
• Conduct training sessions for staff on lab procedures and safety
• Handle procurement and inventory management of lab supplies

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in laboratory management
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biology
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and quality control
• Experience with inventory management and safety compliance
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and validation processes
