About the Role
Join JB Tools as a Warehouse Associate in Livonia, MI, where you'll play an important role in keeping our warehouse running efficiently. This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities including receiving inventory, organizing products, preparing customer orders, and supporting daily warehouse operations. We're looking for dependable individuals who enjoy staying active and working as part of a team in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
- Label products and maintain accurate product identification.
- Put away inventory and keep warehouse locations organized.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Wrap pallets and prepare outbound freight shipments.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Move inventory throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Assist with inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Support other warehouse duties as business needs require.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active throughout the workday.
- Experience operating a forklift (hi-lo) and pallet jack is preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
