Job Description
Trusts and Estates Law Practice has an opening for a Full-Time Paralegal. We are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious paralegal to join our firm. This position will focus on supporting matters related to Estate Planning, Public Benefits Planning, Conservatorships, and Trust and Estate Administration. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and relevant experience, can work autonomously, and is seeking an integral role with opportunities to grow with the firm.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to identify legal needs and concerns
- Prepare judicial council forms, pleadings, property transfer documents, and correspondence
- Perform administrative functions related to case management
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated client relationship skills including the ability to lead in‐person client meetings
- Ability to conduct legal research, analyze case law, and stay up‐to‐date with changing laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Typing proficiency of 50+ wpm
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong work ethic
Highly desirable skills and experience that will set you apart from other applicants:
Experience with Conservatorships, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, Special Needs Trusts, and Public Benefits Planning
Experience with AbacusLaw software
Experience with Lawgic software
