Cook/Cafe Associate

Heritage Natural Cafe is looking for an experienced cook, who is hard working, dependable and familiar with natural foods, or willing to learn. Knowledge of vegan foods is a plus! Responsibilities include:

1. Support the daily operations of our cafe
2. Prepare food items such as salads, soups, sandwiches, and all menu items to order
3. Take food and beverage orders (interaction with customers)
4. Maintain a clean and orderly dining area
5. Wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen area
6. Working knowledge of inventory and portion control.
7. Perform cashier tasks.
8. Working within established guidelines and operation procedures
9. Able to work a flexible schedule as required.

Heritage Natural Market has been in business since 1969, serving the community with herbs, supplements and natural groceries, as well as psychic readings and massage therapy. We are the largest independent health food store in the Tidewater area.
