Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our non-medical in-home care agency. The RN will play a key role in supporting the well-being, safety, and comfort of clients by providing oversight, assessments, and guidance to caregivers, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional personal care in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients to determine non-medical care needs and develop personalized care plans.
Supervise and train in-home caregivers on best practices for personal care, infection control, and safety procedures.
Monitor client status, update care plans as needed, and communicate changes to agency staff, caregivers, and family members.
Serve as a point of contact for families regarding care concerns, and provide education about care practices and available resources.
Ensure compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and ethical standards.
Complete required documentation, reports, and maintain accurate client records.
Participate in quality assurance activities to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Current, active RN license in the state of employment.
Experience in home care, geriatric care, or community health preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment
Client homes; occasional visits to agency office.
Flexible schedule may be required, including occasional evenings or weekends.
