Gas Station Cashier

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Cashier to join our gas station team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and help keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit/debit card, and other payments accurately.
• Operate the cash register and POS system.
• Assist customers with fuel purchases, store merchandise, and general questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and other merchandise as needed.
• Check product dates and maintain proper product displays.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, safety, and security.
• Monitor the store and report suspicious activity or safety concerns to management.
• Perform opening, closing, and other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier at a gas station experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling ability.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must meet applicable Arizona employment requirements.
