About the Role:
Little General LLC is looking for a dependable and hardworking Custodian to join our team in Columbia, MO! This is a great opportunity to be a vital part of keeping our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of interior spaces including floors, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other restroom essentials
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with light facility maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Prior custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
