Experienced Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

Our concierge Internal Medicine practice is seeking an Experienced Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team. We are looking for a professional, personable, detail oriented and organized individual who takes pride in providing outstanding patient service.

As the first person our patients see, you will create a warm, welcoming experience while managing a variety of front office responsibilities in our medical practice.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients
• Answer phones and route calls
• Schedule appointments, testing and referrals
• Account registration
• Maintain electronic medical records and process requests for records
• Route faxes, test results, and patient communications
• Keep the reception and waiting area clean and organized
• Occasionally cover for our clinical team by performing EKG, injections, venipuncture

Qualifications:

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant or LPN
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical office experience required
• General knowledge of medical insurance and billing
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
