Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator with OSHA Certification

Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator with OSHA Certification – We seek a Bilingual (English / Spanish) Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator with at least two (2) years of experience to join our team. You will oversee the safety policies at facilities in Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.

You will earn $70,304 per year, plus enjoy an excellent company benefits package.

As our Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing safety policies and programs and ensuring all client worksites are compliant with same. You’ll also be expected to:

• Conduct safety observations and compile reports on a regular basis.
• Attend safety walks and inspections regularly and maintain all safety documentation.
• Educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operation.
• Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
• Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident to improve future safety.
• Act as a liaison between management and client safety agencies.
• Attend potential new client safety walkthroughs.
• Perform safety trainings on various safety topics.

To be considered, you must have at least two (2) years of environmental health and safety experience, speak both English and Spanish fluently, and:

• Have reliable transportation to travel to worksites in your territory.
• Be OSHA 10 or 30 certified.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Be Train the trainer certified.
• Be First Aid/CPR certified.
