Counterperson

We are seeking a Counterperson to service our prepared foods counter located within the Lancaster County Farmer's Market. The market is open three days per week, on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 6 am to 4 pm. Can also be part time 7-2. Knowledge of fresh seafood and prepared foods helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Explain products and services to customers
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Enter and process customer orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields helpful but not necessary
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent verbal communication skills
