Quality Control Staff

RESPONSIBILITIES include:

· May lead smaller projects.

· May make independent decisions about minor expenses and travel up to $500.

· Responds to quality claims from customer.

· Prepares PPAP documentation.

· Conducts incoming inspection and issues relevant reports.

· Issues/creates communications with customers, suppliers and vendors.

· Issues/creates documentation and processes related to customer claims.

· Additional duties as needed or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Soft skills: Customer service, problem-solving, logical thinking and analysis skills.

Critical skills: Must have good communication skills and appropriate English language skills for a business environment.

Technical skills: Microsoft Office, ISO 9000 knowledge. Ability to read technical drawings and specs such as CAD (Catia) experience required. Six Sigma experience preferred. Second language (Spanish, Japanese, Korean) a plus.

Must have a valid driver’s license and current passport. This position requires international travel. Possible significant amount of travel in the U.S.

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred.

Must have legal work status to work in the U.S.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds and cannot be colorblind.
